If thats the case then why don't they move the PD forward. EB3-I is stuck in 2001 since last 3 years and its not moving forward at all. How can we get some help here, ombudsman?
After waiting in limbo for so long....even an RFE sounds like sweet news :) . I am hoping its about something simple like Employment verification or something (My company is Fortune 100 , so I don't think it would be about ability to pay). And hoping there are no other delays on the way (like Namecheck etc)
So at last they opened my case. I hope the RFE gets resolved soon, before the dates retrogress or become 'U'. As of now my PD is current in Nov as well. So crossing my fingers!
I hope that other EB3-I cases stuck in 2001/2002 will start getting picked up soon as well and approved. All the best to you all.

ramus, i dont think local office will issue AP unless its an emergency. I am saying this bcoz i was in the local office today and they made it clear unless its absolute emergency AP will be issued only by NSC. In case of emergecy you need to show a valid proof that someone in your family is seriously sick.

everyone I go to offers Digital Photos (ID PHotos)....my attorneys had said Digitals are not acceptable...but looks like that is all u can get nowadays...

For me it looks like an honest mistake or intended mistake by someone who wants to get GC fast. (and getting GC in EB2 or EB1 is not a great award..it just reduces the queue). If what IV is fighting for is achieved, nobody cares to switch the categories as everybody will get their GC on time.

On aug 9 th, USCIS nebraska center issued a total of 4063 receipt nos for 485, EAD, and APs.

From this, if we assume ~4000/day, it ll take 20 working days to clear july 2nd filers (~80,000). My guess is by 31st Aug.

EAD, AP & FP notice are sent directly to the applicant. If you see the status of AP as document mailed then you should get within 2/3 days as they send by DHL. I got mine in 2 days, my wife also got in 2 days
If your attorney filed your case, then:
EAD is sent directly you
FP is sent to you and your attorney
AP is sent to your attorney.....
All these are sent by USCIS via regular mail.....
Your attorney might have sent the AP documents to you via DHL...

I just don't like the tone of after getting work with a valid permit, then suddenly, one turns against those who are applying for work permit for the fear that they may take his job.
The anti-immigrants also fear that the immigrants are taking their jobs or lowering their wages atleast.

It is so easy
Take a good picture in good lighting with regular digital camera
Crop the picture to square size as needed
Open it in photoshop -- make picture package - select 2x2 of 20 pics -- and save it.
Again crop it with the ratio or 4x6 selecting six pictures.
Now u have a picture which is 4x6 in size with total of six 2x2 pp size pics in it.
go to walmart - at kiosk print it... for 24 cents per copy
6 cents per picture
and again pics are of your liking ..
in between you can edit to remove shadows easily
enjoy

I don't know if he is gonna mess it up if I file on my own. But Senthil has valid point that he should support if there is an RFE.
Do not care about the money now. Give 5k and file thro company. If you need any help from company for RFE or any other issue after filing gc then company will help for you. Because you are working for hourly paying 2 or 3k more than normal should be ok. Some of lawyers are charging more compared to normal

Hospitals will NOT provide medical insurance. They can provide financial assistance based on your income if you do qualify. Usually it is a payment plan after some discounts on the total cost of the care provided.
Secondly if you are looking for maternity coverage after getting pregnant the premiums are going to be high, and mostly the insurance companies deny coverage.
Thirdly i would check with your local medicaid office which on occasion do provide emergency maternity coverage even for legal immigrants in some states.
Medicaid, I believe I don't quality because of my pay.
I am looking for some payment options from Hospitals which take care from prenatal to Delivery. I have individual insurance but, that would not cover maternity insurance. In Texas you would not get individual insurance with maternity.
But I have learn't that when you have individual insurance would cover all complications of delivery, including new born baby, but not regular delivery charges.
I hope some one on this forum would have some good information which would be helpful to me.
Any one reading this post, please provide your suggestions or ideas. That would be really helpful.
