The resizable text box will be awesome. There is nothing worse than some lame brain web designer that only lets you see one or two lines at a time when you need to see a lot more.

Well finally we might actually see decent image editing on the iPad. I can't imagine this being anywhere as great as Photoshop on a real computer anytime soon, but the iPad should be able to run something like Photoshop 7 or CS without any problems thanks to the CPU power and RAM it has. If they just made it touch sensitive somehow, or added stylus or external tablet support somehow, that would be awesome.
I doubt there really is the need for a totally rewritten app here, as it will lack 99% of the good features in Photoshop (Liquify, robust Type tool, Curves, etc...).

I tend to agree. Cut programs until our expenses match our current 'revenues.' When the two are equal or are in the black, let's immediately pass an balanged-budget amendment so this problem never happens again. And, raise taxes so our spending is less than our revenues and we can start paying off the debts Reagan, Bush and Bush left our grandchildren. It's time to start acting like grown-ups.
For the record, they are paying their fair share. The top 50% of wage earners pay over 95% of the income tax. Your disgusting attack on all conservatives wanting to '****' over all citizens is just that... disgusting. They don't pay 95% of all taxes. In addition, if you look at their income, they have tons of it that is not taxed (So, shouldn't they be paying even more? I don't have much income that isn't taxed, why should they?) They also have and control the vast, vast majority of the wealth in this country that is not taxed until sold for a gain (whether you realize it or not, there's some big concepts in that one sentence). Finally, all the other taxes are regressive or at best flat, which means the poor and middle classes are paying more than their fair share of those taxes. You don't seem to care about that, you're more interested in protecting 100-200 of the wealthiest of the wealthy.
Certainly you understand that increasing taxation on the wealthy and corporations certainly won't help. Certainly you understand that decreased taxation on the wealthy and corporations certainly hasn't helped, and in fact hurt. You see that, right? If not, here's a mirror, look over your shoulder at the Bush administration. It wasn't that long ago.

I am looking to use (2) Airport Expresses going to a multi zone amplifier to power (2) sets of speakers in the yard. Is it possible to use the AirPlay feature from the iPod Touch to send audio to both the Expresses at the same time so they are synced? I figure this way I would get audio level control to both zones on the iTouch.
New to the Mac world and looking for solutions.

I was thinking about this game and if it would work on an 11" mba ultimate.
i tried searching forums for "macbook air rift" and nothing came up so i thought id post it and see if anyone had any success. Even if you have to play at lowest settings, that would be fine for me. Sorry if i missed a thread that discusses this already. Thanks for any helpful replies.

I agree. I think keeping your dignity and sanity intact are more important than a little extra money. I'll probably do the business card for this guy, but if he approaches me with any larger projects, I'll most likely turn him down. :)

There honestly is no need to update the iPhone line EVERY year at this point. iPhone 4 was the biggest jump and I don't see a reason to jump again so soon, especially after Verizon customers JUST recived access to the phone. I can understand updating the models to include 4G, but at this point 4G IMHO is not needed. It's not a mature enough standard to expect iPhone owners to have smooth service with Verizon and AT&Ts 4G networks. I see them both being great next year, but it'd be a forced move on Apples part to update so soon.
I disagree, whether you call it a refresh or all new phone, several things must be addressed by Apple in the current model:
1. replace back glass with metal or carbon fiber enclosure;
2. replace antenna design;
3. use 4" screen, even at same resolution;
4. offer 64gb model.
One even more important change, which I KNOW they won't do, is use a universal radio chip that can support GOS and CDMA networks - no more having to buy a new phone every time you switch carriers - oops, that cuts agains Apple's AND the carriers interest - not much traction there.

.Mac is a load of old BALLS!!! It's absolutely ridiculously. We're paying �99 in Europe really for Mail, iWeb was only added recently, but you have to buy iLife '06 to use it. iChat is free? No it's not! Guess what? You have to pay �99, cause you need .Mac to use iChat. The whole thing is a joke! Way to respect your loyal fans Apple.
